Biography

A footballing talent and born and brought up in Dingwall, John "Jocky" Clark was head-hunted by Dundee United when he was just 18-years-old at a time when scouts rarely came North. He went on to play for the club. The right winger's special talents were spotted south of the border too when he trialled for Blackpool FC in the days of Alan Ball who was in the World Cup winning England team in 1966.

Across the Highlands, Jocky played for Queens of the North, Ross County, Nairn County and was also involved with Inverness Caley. In the early 1980s he passed on his skill to other players when he became a coach for Clachnacuddin FC.

Debut
