Jim Hosie

Biography

Jim joined Aberdeen from junior side Aberdeen North End in 1959, and he played at Pittodrie for three seasons, alongside former Nairn captain Andy Cadenhead. In 1962 he moved South to play for English Third Division side Barnsley before joining Ross County in 1964. He played with the Dingwall club for six years, claiming a league winners medal in 1966-67 and cup winners medals in the North Cup, Highland League Cup and Qualifying Cup.

At age 30, having turned down terms to stay at Victoria Park, Jim agreed to join Nairn County during the summer in 1970.
