Timeline

  • Date of Birth

Tony was born on this date in Glasgow.

  • Signed For Nairn County

Tony was a summer acquisition who has experience in the SPFL Championship from his time playing for Greenock Morton and Dumbarton. He is a powerful attacker who can play as a centre forward or just off the front and joined the club on the verge of the start of the season after scoring in the friendly against Ross County as a trialist.

  • A CONOR Gethins strike seven minutes after half time sealed an opening day victory for Nairn County. Manager Les Fridge was without Alan Pollock, Michael Morrison and Paul Macleod through suspension while Bradley Halsman was unavailable. There were competitive debuts for Kenny McKenzie and Tony Wallace while fellow summer arrival Andrew Skinner appeared from the bench in the second half.

  • NINE-man Nairn County were narrowly edged out at Wick Academy by the odd goal in three. The visitors were minus the services of the injured Conor Gethins while Adam Naismith was unavailable because of work commitments. In came Andrew Skinner for his first start for the club and Bradley Halsman. Alan Pollock returned from suspension and was on the bench.

  • MAGNIFICENT Nairn County have beaten reigning Highland League champions and title favourites Brora Rangers 2-1 on their own patch with a disciplined and workmanlike showing, writes Graeme Macleod.

  • A GOALLESS draw at Clachnacuddin saw Nairn County’s season end on a tame note as they failed to claim sixth place in the table after an un-entertaining derby at Grant Street Park.
